This Calendar features Black Owned Businesses! A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the BOB calendar will support STEM classes and competitions for the first ever black owned and operated robotics league. Although the robotics league is in its infancy, it is slated to become nationally competitive within a year’s time with your support of this calendar.
A highly sought after platform of visibility that celebrates the accomplishment of black businesses and our continued support of their cultural progression! We have come together and created this Black Owned Business Calendar (BOBC) to highlight the importance of black-owned businesses to the economy and to communities globally. BOBC is an opportunity for all to see how these businesses "do business." From family owned operations to small franchises we are supporting black entrepreneurs with representation. This calendar supports the first ever black owned and operated robotics league. While in its infancy, this league is slated to be competing nationally within a year’s time with your support of this calendar. A portion of the proceeds will support classes and competitions.
The Independent Robotics Challenge (IRC) is a product of The DJ's 4 Charity Foundation 501c3 Texas nonprofit. The IRC will attract students who love to build and solve problems, exactly the type of people who will make up the next generation of manufacturing leaders. We must now “STEM” the tide of the growing skills gap and reinforce hands-on learning that excites students to learn more.

President of Business Operations & Management
Candace has worked in the corporate sector for over 35 years and 25 years in the IT industry as a Network Engineer. As a entrepreneur, she has experience in leadership and business management. Candace earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science with a double minor in Business/Industry Technology, along with a masters of arts Degree in Professional Development-Concentration in Management.
In addition to her numerous hands on non profit outreach efforts, Candace founded Res-Sol Foundation and The Link Connectors LLC as a business network platform. In conclusion she also knows how to lead a business and has a well trained staff that is versed in marketing private and public events nationwide.
Bruce Montgomery,
Chief Creative Officer

Bruce's experience in business began when he decided to become a DJ as a teenager. He had to be sufficient in repairing his equipment to save on expenses sparking his interest in electronics. He went on to have a successful career as the professional DJ B-Smoove who became the mix-show coordinator for several corporate radio groups. Bruce's past business management and marketing career was an great addition after leaving the ARMY in which he served as a combat arms Staff Sargent for over ten years and two tours. He then completed his BS in Electrical Engineering, AutoCAD, Graphics Design and Pre Engineering Robotics which afforded him the opportunity to be catapulted into corporate America as a regional network engineer, and has worked in the field of technology for over 22 years as a manager and entrepreneur. Bruce's long career as a technology manager came with extensive certifications and training to relentlessly pursue performance excellence through shared goals, shared leadership, collaboration, and open communication. Bruce then earned a BS in Business Management, and a M.Ed. in STEM Education while teaching technology curriculum he designed for several school districts and private institutions. At that time, he formed W.B.E.T. Consulting, a Business, Entertainment, Education, and Technology firm. Bruce is on a pursuit to shine a bright light on creating opportunities for disenfranchised youth and underrepresented communities through the Texas non profit DJs 4 Charity Foundation 501(c)3.
